Day 17 – 9/16 Catch up day and Sushi in Billings, MT

A little colder in here today, didn’t leave any heat on and it got to 50s overnight.  Now I’m making coffee and have a little space heater on.  We should have 70s and clear skies today, nothing major planned, so may be catching up, relaxing, maybe a bike ride and if the girls are all done with their school, we’ll treat them to Sushi.

It ended up being a catch up day as expected.  Bia got her work done per usual now, around noon she was done.  She’s been waking up at 6:45 so she can join her live meetings starting at 7, which are helping her be done faster as she doesn’t have to wait for videos to be uploaded to then watch them, now she just follows along and does the work at the same time.

Bella had to finish work from yesterday, and get today’s work done, so she took longer.  I worked with her most morning, then Carol worked with her for a bit around lunch, then I got her back and she was done and all caught up by 3pm.  Morning was slower for Bella, she wasn’t really into thinking much, but after lunch she picked it up and got things done much faster.  She does want more hand holding, and sometimes just wants us to sit with her and help her go through, so we’ll have to figure out how to do it and keep helping so we reduce stress for everyone.

Carol worked on videos most of the day, went shopping with Bia after lunch, and at night did laundry.  We are right next to this campground’s laundry area, so she did it in there, it was much quicker and easier than taking out our machine and doing it in the RV.

I had 2 calls in the morning, got website stuff done for Carol’s site and the consulting company.  Helped Bella most of the day, and tried to get some stuff done online while doing so.  When Bella was done and Carol was back, I went for a run.  I ran to the neighborhood side of where we are this time, and went towards a park.  It’s a simpler area, simple houses, small with small backyards, many people had low gates, likely due to having dogs.  A few dogs were outside barking at me as I passed them.  There were some main streets on the way to the park, and also some gravel streets.

The park was really nice, seemed to be pretty new, though the trees were big, so maybe they took the area and converted it into a park recently.  It had a playground, baseball diamond, basketball court, etc.  It was a quick 5km run, so I got back and got ready to go eat at the Sushi place I found online.

NaRa Restaurant is the name of the place, it’s smaller, like maybe 10 tables, but the sushi was awesome!  I had two rolls that seemed to be the spiciest they had, and for sure those were the two best sushi rolls I’ve ever had, from a flavors, spiciness, different textures, size, etc… they were awesome!  Carol even tried both and really liked them.  The girls really liked theirs too, and Carol really liked hers, she said the fish on her was amazingly fresh and tender.  They had some local beers, which were very good as well.  And that was our day, lower key with no big adventures, we started packing for tomorrow, got ready for bed and called it a night.
